Title : Sampling the Penrose Tiling
Abstract: I discuss some of my recent progress in developing an algorithm for sampling the Penrose tiling and other quasiperiodic tilings obtained via the cut-and-project method. A construction called the "oblique tiling" makes it possible to render these tilings at interactive rates entirely within a fragment shader. |
