Title : Testing For Intersection Between Cylinders
Abstract: I will discuss an algorithm for detecting collisions between cylinders in R^3. While other algorithms take an iterative approach or parametrize the intersection set, exploiting an intuitive concept yields an efficient algorithm that is better suited for most applications. The algorithm is built up to sketch its correctness. |
