Title : Bindless Graphics
Abstract: OpenGL data passing paradigms have evolved through the years. A new paradigm is that provided by relatively recent "bindless graphics" extensions. Bindless graphics potentially allows us access to more data, as well as allowing us to access it faster. Nvidia's extensions, in particular, also give us access to powerful new functionality. I will outline the paradigms provided in the many OpenGL specifications, and talk about how they can be improved with bindless graphics. |
