Title : Improved Tessellation of Algebraic Curves and Surfaces Using A-Patches
Abstract:
This talk is a follow up to my previous CGL tech presentation where I discussed a method for tessellating algebraic curves and surfaces using A-patch single sheet conditions. In that work, the tessellation method was slow to converge for some data sets. In this talk, I review A-patches and our tessellation algorithm, and investigate why the method is slow to converge for some curves. I then propose additional single-sheet conditions that solve these convergence problems.
