These deformations are made possible by user specification of different types of handles directly on the image.Existing researchers have made various attempts to accurately deform images by applying different techniques from free-form deformation of space to gradient based methods applied to shapes. In this talk I will talk about deformation, summarize existing approaches to deformation, describe the concept of "as-rigid-as-possible" deformation. Then lastly, explain the Moving Least Squares deformation strategy [by Schaefer et al. 2006].In the end, I will propose a new area of application of deformation into the field of NPR.
