Stephen Mann	Title : !FTL Abstract: !FTL is a gesture recognition method that has translation, scale, and rotation invariance built into the metric. In this talk, I'll review the !FTL as well as \$1, and show why !FTL has these invariances.

• Construction has started in the lab. There will be some money for adding sound proofing and lab renovations later in the year. The plan to move the door on the vision lab has been put aside for now; let the directors know if the vision people coming and going is a problem.
