Unified Non-manifold Elastica Abstract:
In contrast to single type elastic models (i.e. rod, shell, and solid
models), coupled models and non-manifold joint models have not garnered
significant attention within Computer Graphics. However, single type
elastic models can only cover a few types of coupling among all
possible combinations. We aim to achieve a fully coupled elastic model
which can cover all possible couplings of the models in different
dimensions, even with non-manifold joints.
