Title : Advertising and HCI
Abstract:
Computer-mediated advertising has blossomed in the past decade and now accounts for roughly 200f all advertising. Despite its very clear impact on the design and use of interactive systems, computer-mediated advertising has received relatively little attention from the field of HCI. This talk will examine computer-mediated advertising through the lens of HCI. There will also be an outline of the unique challenges that arise when one must design, implement, or evaluate interactive systems that include advertising.
