4. Technical Presentation

Philippe Lamoureux	Title : The Demoscene Abstract: I'll be presenting a brief overview of the history of the demoscene, and will explain how some of the original effects on the Commodore 64 were generated.

5. Discussion Items

• An inspection of SCS work spaces will take place on Nov. 3 from 130 to 4 pm. Please inspect your own area and make sure there are
  • no conditions that could cause someone to trip or fall.
  • unsafe storage of equipment or chemicals
  • overloaded electrical devices, unsafe wiring etc.
  • piles of food containers or recycling not in appropriate bins
  • unsafe piles of paperwork, boxes, files etc.
• Campus-wide domain reorganization.
• Fall Open House next Saturday (the 6th). Students interested in volunteering to work at the booth and lead tours should sign up in the faculty mailroom or talk to Heather O'Leary in DC 2119.
