Title : Motion Doodles: A Sketch-Based Interface for Character Animation
Abstract: We present a novel sketch-based interface for animating anarticulated human character quickly and with a limited amount oftraining. The character is animated by sketching a sequence of simplearcs, loops and lines which are interpreted as an appropriate sequenceof steps, jumps, flips and other motions. The motion synthesisextracts key features from the sketch such as arc height, distance andtiming information, allowing a user to create a variety of styles ofmotions. |
