Title : Evaluation of a Five-Key Text Input Method Using Rhythmic Mappings
Abstract: In this talk, I describe a novel text input method with the potential for eyes-free input in mobile devices. Text is entered using rhythmic combinations of five keys. An initial user study shows that performance is similar to comparable chord-based techniques. Potential refinements to the method may further increase performance. |
