Title : Simple local interpolation surfaces using normal vectors
Abstract: This paper appeared on the newest issue of CAGD. The author used quadratic polynomials to construct the boundary curves when interpolating given points with normals. Later interior of triangular and quadrilateral patches are construsted based on the boundary curves. I will give an alternative approach to this idea using a geometric method, also an evaluation of the idea. |
