Title: A Blossoming Derivation of Foward Differencing Abstract: Forward differencing is an efficient method of evaluating polynomial curves at a uniform set of samples. Derivations of forward differencing tend to be based on the monomials and tend to be coordinate based. In this talk, I derive the forward differencing formulas from the blossom of a polynomial curve, giving a coordinate free formulation of foward differencing. |
