Title: Force Feedback II: The binding problem
Abstract:
Force feedback is a very good method for enhancing user experience in
game environments, and is likely to be useful in other types of interface.
The effectiveness of force feedback depends on how well the `binding
problem' is solved; the implementation of force feedback depends on
separating time scales. This talk describes the binding problem, which is
the foundation of a new technology, the force buffer.
