Title: Spectrophotometry using a scanner.

Abstract:

Spectrophotometers are very expensive. Scanners provide similar functionality inexpensively. However, a scanner has very low spectral resolution (only three channels). I will explore the possibility of using coloured filters to duplicate the functionality of a spectrophotometer using a scanner.
