Title: Reputation in Anonymous Interfaces Abstract:
This talk describes the role that reputation can play in improving
the effectiveness of interfaces
where strangers interact. This talk first reviews
some emperical results on anonymous trust: the "trust game" and eBay feedback system. Then, it describes a novel mechanism for increasing trust between strangers in peer-to-peer systems. |
