Title: Walking
towards the Holodeck
Abstract: As far as holodeck
graphics go, we're well on the way to interactive photorealism. That leaves
other pesky problems like how to simulate an infinite floor in finite space.
I will discuss some recent approaches implementing the "walk-in-place"
metaphor.
