Title: QuickTime for Synchronized Video Playback and Music Synthesis

Abstract: As part of the work I'm doing on my thesis, I need to be able to synchronize video and music (in the form of MIDI-like events). I will talk briefly about my experiences with QuickTime in trying to accomplish this goal. I'll present the main problem I have and possible workarounds I've been thinking of to fix it. Suggestions and comments are welcome.
