Title: Improving photos using flash/no-flash pairs

Abstract:
Under dim light, it is difficult to take a noise-free photo.however, using flash leads to other nasty problems like red-eye,harsh shadows, and unearthly lighting. I will outline a technique presented at SIGGRAPH that solvesthese problems by combining the best of flash and no-flash photography.
