Title: Worley Cellular Texture
Abstract:
Worley's basis functions make generating cellular textures a
breeze. This talk covers the Worley functions and how to implement them on
the GPU.
5. General Discussion Items
- Alias is hiring:
- Alias has two open software engineer positions for
StudioTools. See uw.cgl for details.
6. Action List
- Lab Rearrangement Update: Bill filled in for Erin with some comments. We are almost ready for the cabelling party
within the lab (that is, moving computers and rewiring everything. However, two things need to happen:
- Edwin has figured out the current power system. We now can know is plugged into what and account for all the blue cables coming out of the PDS.
- We need a plan of where to put computers. Then we can determine where blue cables need to be laid so that every computer is
plugged into the PDS in some way. Edwin and Sandrine are looking at this with Erin providing support.
Anybody is free to provide input.
- Started cleaning the machine room, we should be reducing the number of boxes in there.
- Erin and Sandrin are looking into setting up proper laptop access in the lab.
- About cable for the TV in the lounge area is not gonna happen.....
