Name:	Kevin Moule
Title:	SSE: High Performance Holy Grail?
Abstract:	I will be talking about the Streaming SIMD Extensions (SSE) available on modern x86 processors. I will be discussing the hardware level support and the software support made possible through the Intel C++ compiler. Some trivial examples will be shown to showcase the potential of SSE followed by an example of applying SSE to a non-trivial problem with mixed results.
