Title: Irradiance Volume

Abstract: In this talk I'll present a technique proposed by Greger et al. based on a volumetric representation for the global illumination within a space. The main idea of the technique is to precompute and store the irradiance of a set of points and directions in a five dimensional hierarchical grid and use these values during the rendering pass. One possible application of this technique is rendering of semi-dynamic environments.
