- Title:
Efficient, Fair Interpolation using Catmull-Clark Surfaces
-
Abstract:
I will present a 1993 paper by Halstead. Kass, and DeRose on efficient and
fair interpolation using the Catmull-Clark method of subdivision surfaces.
The approach is to compute a control mesh using the Catmull-Clark scheme
and then evaluate and minimize the fairness norm of the surface to make it
smoother.
