5. Technical Presentation
- Presenter:
-
Pascale Proulx
- Title:
-
How are gender-stereotypes connected to gender socialization?
- Abstract:
-
For those who missed it, my presentation was based on an essay I had to write for my sociology course, Gender Relations. The title of my talk is the question I had to answer in my essay. I chose to address the question by examining why girls don't play computer games as much as boys and how this could contribute to the fact that women are under-represented in the information-technology field.
6. General Discussion Items
-
Selina needs to swap her turn for technical presentation...

I am in the process of assembling a team of students to work on an
approximately 30-minute long live-action special effects film. We are
looking for more 3D modellers/animators to fill the team out.
If you're interested in film, special effects or just want to use your
skills on an interesting project, we'd love to have you.
To find out more, or to get involved, please contact Vic Schappert by email
at vics@mail.com or by telephone at 884.3732
