Middlemen on Web: Research proposal

Abstract:

Internet is changing almost everything, including the business and information infrastructures. Will the traditional intermediaries disappear because of the reduced the transaction costs through Internet?
I am trying to simulate the impact of the Internet on middlemen with simplified mathematical model. And discuss how is electrical middleman affected.
