Subdivision Surface Evaluation Optimized for Hardware Implementation.
Subdivision surface theory will be developed from spline theory. The
focus will be on the Catmull-Clark algorithm. After justifying the subdivision
operations, data structures and evaluation schemes which are particularly
suited for hardware will be discussed and compared.
