Title:

Criticism (or lack) of computer art.

Abstract:

I will be discussing the state of art criticism for digital art and the differences between a technical, general, and critical audiences. (Or this is me fielding for a ideas for a good interactive CS488 project).

• It's time to apply for OGS scholarships. Jane Prime has the applications (DC 2332). Departmental deadling is Tuesday, October 26, 1999. In the past, Jane has taken Tuesdays as a day off, so plan to submit earlier, if possible.
• Lab duties! Time to assign new ones!

• New shelves have turned up. They are now the right-side up, but need ends before we bolt them to the wall and start filling them with books.
• GI deadline Nov. 19. This time it will be in Montreal.
