Title:
Inverse Kinematics
Abstract:
An articulated object is often modeled as a set of rigid segments connected with joints, which have one or more degrees of freedom. Inverse kinematics is one of the methods used to find the joint angles for a desired configuration of the model. Most formulations rely on the solutions of linear systems of equations, which sometimes present numerical difficulty. A physically meaningful solution is used in this project to avoid excessive computation. Joint constraints are also considered for preventing unreachable configurations of the human model.
