Title:
Controlling B-splines
Abstract:
Traditionally, B-Spline curves are modified by having the user manipulate their control points. This approach is non-intuitive and increases the clutter on the screen. In this talk, I will present a technique that allows a user to pick a point on a curve and move it to a new location. A simple procedure is used to interactively update the control points of the curve so it passes through the new point. Various features and limitations of this method will be discussed.
