Title:

Texture Mapping Survey

Abstract:

My thesis work will explore texture mapping onto pasted surfaces. Blair

mentioned some of this work in his last tech talk. I will present some

background research that I have done into texture mapping. The

presentation will begin with motivation relating to surface pasting and

will proceed to give a historical view of texture mapping beginning with

Catmull's introduction of the concept in his 1974 Ph.D. dissertation.
