- The Evolution of Semiconductor Trade Policy
- Abstract:

Semiconductor trade policy developed differently in the United States and
Japan. I will be discussing these evolutions, in the context of both
traditional and strategic trade policy. I will be focusing on the
economic assumptions of these two types of policy, and how these
assumptions apply (or do not apply) to the semiconductor industry.
