- Title:
- Why the RGB model is inadequate for rendering
Ever since the first ray tracer, people have been generating "photorealistic"
images using the RGB colour model even though there are some severe
limitations to using this model for computations. I will present some
alternatives that have surfaced over the last decade and explain why these
alternatives are much more suited for colour computations. Finally, I will be
showing some dramatic results indicating the superiority of these colour
representations.
