Scientific evaluation of the goodness of a method is difficult, however because the parameters of the spline must be fit for each desired movement. Alternatively, I propose that feature movement consists of simple piece-wise segments that have discontinuous velocities where they meet. My initial examination into these change-points and the intermediate processes has been promising, however further research is required to verify this claim.
