TPABSTRACT:I will talk about the curious phenomena of social perception in the simplest environments in which it can be observed: 2D displays of moving geometric shapes and about computational modeling of these phenomena. The phenomenon itself has been first published in 1944 and is now widely explored by computational cognitive science to understand the computation that may be driving perception of planning in the brain as well as to make better AI.There will be exciting videos and a mini experiment.
